This week’s #ThrowbackThursday is all about labor law. In March of this year, Burnes Center Senior Fellow Seth Harris wrote about the long and complicated history of the National Labor Relations Act's definition of "employee" that determines which workers are covered and protected by the Act. The battle has raged since 1944 to determine whether workers are protected when they seek to organize a union and bargain collectively with their employers.
