In this very special Labor Day blogcast, Burnes Center for Social Change Senior Fellow Seth Harris is (kind of) joined by the 45th and 47th President of the United States Donald J. Trump.

Power At Work has interviewed front-line workers and organizers, union presidents, governors, members of Congress, and public policy leaders. This Labor Day, we put our questions to the President (well, almost). White House security walls made it impossible for our little alternative media outlet to get the video, so this blogcast is only available in audio format.

Listen to the (seeming) President explain why he agreed to sit down with a small pro-worker alternative media outlet, take on the affordability debate, and give his account of why prices continue to rise. He reflects on bosses and the nature of the employment relationship, including whether the American people can fairly be described as his boss. He also names the figure he considers most important in American labor history. The interview closes with his Labor Day message to American workers.

This blogcast is available as audio only. Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.
