I appeared on Bloomberg TV on Thursday afternoon, July 20 with Scarlet Fu to talk about the "summer of strikes," the rising popularity of unions, and surprisingly poor decision-making and perhaps-unsurprising labor-law-breaking by some brand name corporations.
We also explored the increased worker bargaining power that has been made possible by persistently very low unemployment and a lack of layoffs despite the Federal Reserve raising interest rates. I was asked to speculate what would happen if the labor market deteriorated and worker power declined. You can watch my answer below.
