To give more Power At Work Blog subscribers and friends-of-the-blog time to vote for their favorite labor movies as part of #LaborOscars2024, we have extended the voting deadline until 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday, February 28th.
Don’t miss your chance to participate in #LaborOscars2024: the movie awards that focus on worker power, unions, and collective action.
Vote today in all five categories: Best Feature Film, Best Documentary Film, Best International Labor Film, Best Worker Power Profile, and Worst Movie About Unions.
You have the power. It’s up to you to decide the winners.
Here’s how you can vote. We’ve announced our categories and nominees (although you can vote for a movie that was not nominated). Cast your vote in each category by sharing posts on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok that include
- your favorite movie in that category,
- the hashtag #LaborOscarsVote and
- a tag of the Power At Work Blog account (either @PowerAtWorkBlog or @PowerAtWork).
We are also separately surveying our subscribers to gather their votes.
If you don’t like our nominees, you may vote “Other” and write-in any other films from our full list of 55 labor movies listed in chronological order and broken down by category. (Confidentially: we have already received some votes in the “Other” category, so you won’t be alone.)
Again, voting closes on Wednesday, February 28th at 11:59 PM ET. So, cast your votes right now. We will count up all the votes after the deadline. Return to the Power At Work Blog on March 7th (or subscribe to the Power At Work Blog) to find out the results!
